| Instructions to Connect in Server |
| To connect you need to make a small change in the hosts file. No patch or any changes in client required. |
| For Windows 2000 / XP and Vista 1) Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open the file named "hosts" with your notepad. 2) Scroll to bottom, and on a new line write: 84.19.188.176 L2authd.lineage2.com 3) In another new line write: 84.19.188.176 L2testauthd.lineage2.com Need to look like this: 84.19.188.176 L2authd.lineage2.com 84.19.188.176 L2testauthd.lineage2.com 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com (this line was here by default and leave it as it is) 4) Save the file (in the same format not TXT or RTF). 5) Go to your Your Disk\Program Files\Lineage 2\System and run L2.exe |
| If you can't connect to the server, search in our forum for support or make a new post with your problem. Some clients can't connect by default but some user's post a solution. |
| If you are having trouble with GameGuard you can also add the following lines to your hosts file while doing step 2 and 3 above: 216.107.250.194 update.nProtect.com 216.107.250.194 update.nProtect.net |
